O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents herein to pass proper and necessary action to survey and demarcate the lands of the petitioner to an extent of about 0.03.0 Ares (2.5 cents) comprised in Survey No.183/3, Moolagumoodu Village, Kalkulam Taluk and Kanniyakumari District and to sub-divide the same as per the application of the petitioner dated 13.06.2025 and the reminder of the petitioner dated 23.10.2025, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. 2.With the consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/6

3.The petitioner's grievance is that though he has made applications for survey and demarcation of boundaries and subdividing of the subject land on 13.06.2025 & 23.10.2025, however, the same have been kept pending till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties concerned, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923. 5.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the applications of the petitioner dated 13.06.2025 & 23.10.2025 and demarcate and sub-divide the land of the petitioner, after consideration of the claims of all the parties concerned and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
