O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondent/Municipal Corporation to consider the request of the petitioner, dated 12.11.2025, for issuance of the birth certificate of his son after incorporating the name of his son who was born on 03.03.1986.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the birth certificate has been issued wherein the name of the petitioner's son was not incorporated. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner relied upon a decision of this Court in W.P(MD) No.19214 of 2025, dated 17.07.2025 and contended that even beyond a period of five years the authority may incorporate the name.

4. Relying upon the said judgment, the respondent/Municipal Corporation is directed to issue fresh birth certificate to the writ petitioner incorporating the name of his son and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
