ORDER

The petitioner is the Secretary of the Society. He has filed this writ petition challenging the order of transfer. By the order impugned in this writ petition, the petitioner has been transferred from the Primary Agricultural Co-Operative Credit Society, Alagappapruam to the Primary Agricultural Co-Operative Credit Society, Iravipudhur, which is situated at a distance of 8 kms from Alagappapuram, within the same block.

2.The petitioner challenged the transfer order on the ground that he has suffered a heart attack and undergone a surgery in the year 2023. He claims that he has also met with an accident and sustained head injury and therefore is having head ache, vomiting and giddiness. Therefore, he may not be in a position to discharge his duties effectively. 3.Though the petitioner claims that he is having certain medical issues, he has been transferred to a place within 8 kms in the same block. Therefore, this court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned transfer order. However, the respondents shall refer the petitioner to the 2/4

Medical Board at Kanyakumari Government Hospital, ascertain his condition and if he is having any ailments, it can be sympathetically considered by the respondents. No costs.
