ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application bearing Application No. 2025/N123/28/006570 dated 18.07.2025 and consequently direct the respondents to demarcate the property belonging to the petitioner trust situated in Survey No. 230, Keela Thiruchendur Town, Thiruchendur, Thoothukudi District, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he is the President of the petitioner's Sangam and the said Sangam had purchased several properties in Chennai and some its

Members had executed a gift deed in respect of the subject property described in Survey No.230, Keela Thiruchendur Town, Thiruchendur, Thoothukudi District. Thereafter, the petitioner's Sangam is in exclusive possession and enjoyment of the property and revenue records also stands in the name of the petitioner's Sangam. In order to demarcate the boundaries of the said property, the petitioner submitted an application bearing No.2025/N123/28/006570 dated 18.07.2025. Despite submission of the application, the respondents have failed to consider the same or carry out the demarcation. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 18.07.2025, demarcate the subject land after considering the claims of the petitioner as well as the adjacent land owners and also other interested persons, if any and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this

order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
