PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry and disconnect Electricity Service connection in the name of the 3rd respondent which was given in the Petitioner land at Survey No.704, Jeyamangalam Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.11.2025 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the respondents 1 and 2 to disconnect the service connection given to the third respondent who is said to be in occupation of the private land of the writ petitioner in S.No.704.

2. As could be seen from the affidavit, the 3rd respondent is alleged to be an encroacher in the private patta land of the petitioner in S.No.704 at Jeyamangalam Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District. It is for the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings before the competent civil Court to evict the 3rd respondent.

3. Preserving the rights of the writ petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
