ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Ist Additional Sessions Court (PCR), Thanjavur, to consider the petitioner bail petition on merits upon the petitioner surrender before the said Court and enlarge the petitioner on bail on the same day according to the law in Crime No.424 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the 3rd respondent, who worked as a cashier and manager at the 2nd accused's establishment from 2013 to 2019, had a dispute over Rs.18,64,000/-. The amount was given to the 2nd accused and later returned, leading to a quarrel between the 3rd respondent and the petitioner. Based on these allegations, the police registered a case in crime No.424/2025 under 2/5

Sections 296(b), 351(2) of BNS r/w Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2) (va) of the SC/ST Act.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Ist Additional Sessions Court (PCR), Thanjavur, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.424 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
