[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] The petitioners claiming that they are owners of the land in Survey No.63/1 of Ayyampalayam Village, Musiri Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, and under the guise of removing encroachments along the water channel running through M.Pudur Village, the Panchayat Authorities are trying to disturb their possession over the subject land are before this Court challenging the impugned order dated 06.11.2025, passed by the fourth respondent.

2. We have gone through the impugned order dated 06.11.2025, passed by the fourth respondent. The impugned order indicates that pursuant to the writ petition in W.P.(MD) No.5747 of 2024, steps have been taken to remove the encroachments in the water body and the canal is carrying surplus water to the nearby fields.

3. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the action taken by the respondents to remove the encroachments for free flow of surplus water in the canal and to restore the same to its original position.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [G.J., J.] [K.K.R.K., J.] 15.12.2025 (2/2) NCC :
