Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider petitioners application dated 26.05.2023 within the time frame fixed by this Honble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 26.05.2023, seeking electricity service connection to the house property.

2. The petitioner's earlier application was not considered due to the pendency in O.S.No.6 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Padmanabapuram.

3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the suit was dismissed on 14.11.2025. The petitioner has again made an online application on 29.11.2025.

4. In view of the above, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 29.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
