ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey and fix the four boundaries of petitioner's land bearing Survey Nos. 1583/2A and 1590/2A with a total extent of 1.3695 Hectares, situated at R.Kombai Village, Guziliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the property in question and the patta for the property stands in the name of the petitioner and that the petitioner made a request for survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the said property and paid necessary 2/5
charges through E-challan dated 13.03.2024. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the respondents to consider the request of the petitioner for survey and demarcation of the petitioner's land after considering the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties, if any.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 3/5
