O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fifth respondent to survey the scheduled property in Survey No.56/C1 in Patta No.538 and Survey No.56/C2A in Patta No. 631, situated at Pullaneri Village, Chekkanurani Sub-Registration Office, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, based on Online Receipt No. 2025/0123/24/022184, dated 02.12.2025 and consequently directing the fourth respondent to issue a separate patta for Survey No.56/C1 in Patta No.538 and Survey No.56/C2A in Patta No.631, based on Online Patta Transfer Application No.2025/0105/24/788901 dated 03.11.2025. 2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that an online application for patta transfer has been filed and that an online payment has also been made for the demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that after consideration of the claims of both parties, appropriate steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 and to issue patta, if all the records are found to be correct.
5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the fifth respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner and the online payment made by the petitioner on 02.12.2025 and to demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all interested parties by issuing notice to them and to pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, Page No. 3 of 5
1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
