Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner's life and limb and enable him to continue agricultural work on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2025.

ORDER

Seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner's life and limb and enable him to continue agricultural work on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2025, this petition is filed.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a professor in Engineering College and also director in one Central Government Project. He is the owner of the land comprised 2/6

in S.Nos.503/2 and 502/2 situated at Kurumbapatti Village. Taking advantage of his absence from his native place, respondents 3 to 6 have been continuously disturbing the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the agricultural land and hence, he sought the indulgence of this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, on instructions, submitted that on receiving the complaint from the petitioner, the second respondent Police registered a case in Crime No.417 of 2025 and the police had already taken appropriate action. 4.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh complaint in the event of any future disturbances . The second respondent police is directed to take appropriate action, if any complaint is received from time to time in accordance with law.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
