O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to forbear the Respondent Nos.2 to 4 from dispossessing the Petitioner from his land property comprised in Survey No.25/3A1A measuring about 0.54.50 Ares i.e. 1 Acre, 36 Cents situated at Munaivendri Village and Post, Ilaiyangudi Taluk, Sivagangai District not otherwise than due process of law.

2. Mr.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent Nos.1 to 3. Mr.A.Albert James, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondent No.4. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the respondents 5 and 6, 2/6

notice to them is dispensed with. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the 5th respondent has attempted to dispossess the petitioner from the subject property through the respondent Nos.2 to 4 by using his political influence and money power. Therefore, the respondent Nos.2 to 4 directly and through their subordinates threatening the petitioner to hand over the possession of the subject property at the hands of the 4th respondent and also taking coercive steps to dispossess the petitioner as against the law. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the subject property is a patta land and therefore, they will not interfere with the possession of the petitioner in any way. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 4th respondent would submit that if any complaint is received, they would conduct enquiry and if at all there is any material, they will proceed in accordance with law. He further submits that they will not interfere with the civil dispute between the parties. 3/6

5. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
