PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 5 & 6 to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the tenth respondent for gross moral misconduct, corruption and violation of service conditions by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2025 within a time stipulated by this Court. [Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] On perusal of the papers, we find no merit in this writ petition and it is a frivolous writ petition under the guise of public interest litigation. When this was pointed out to the learned counsel for the petitioner, he insisted that he has to make his submissions. Even after his submissions, we are not convinced that public interest is involved in this matter. Therefore, we decided
to dismiss this writ petition. However, while dictating the order, learned counsel for the petitioner sought leave of this Court to withdraw this writ petition. We are not inclined to grant permission to the learned counsel for the petitioner to withdraw this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed with cost of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) payable by the petitioner to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority.
