PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.3, 4, 7 and 8 to initiate legal action against the 9th respondent for illegal construction of the Marriage Hall in the name of the VISVA MARRIAGE HALL constructed in the lands comprised in Survey Nos.874/1A2A, 874/1B2A, 874/1C2A and 874/1D2 of Ayankollankondan - 1 Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent No.3, 4, 7 and 8 to initiate legal action against the 9th respondent for illegal construction of the Marriage Hall in the name of the VISVA MARRIAGE HALL constructed in the lands comprised in Survey Nos.874/1A2A, 874/1B2A, 874/1C2A and 874/1D2 of Ayankollankondan - 1 Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District.
2. On 08.01.2026, this Court directed the respondents 4,6 to 8 to inspect the Visva Marriage Hall constructed in the lands comprised in Survey Nos.874/1A2A, 874/1B2A, 874/1C2A and 874/1D2 of Ayankollankonan-I Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District, as a one unit and if there is any building permission violation, necessary action be taken and report before this Court.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 8 submitted 3/6
that, pursuant to the direction of this Court, the authorities inspected the property, found certain violations, and issued Form-I and Form-II notices. They further submitted that appropriate action would be taken in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above, if any violation is found, respondents 4 and 5 shall take necessary action in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions is closed. [N.S.K., J.] & [M.J.R., J.] 08.04.2026 Index :Yes/No Internet :Yes am 4/6
