ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Special Court (PCR Act Cases), Sivagangai, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.212 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The case of the prosecution is that there's an ongoing property dispute involving the petitioners, the de facto complainant. On 16.11.2025, at about 05.00 p.m., an altercation occurred between the 2/5

petitioners and the de facto complainant, leading to the petitioners allegedly scolding and assaulting the de facto complainant. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioners. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents Police on instructions, submitted that the injured person has been discharged from the hospital.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Special Court (PCR Act Cases), Sivagangai, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No. 212 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police. 3/5
