ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and third respondent in respect of a property comprised in Town S.No.1874 and 1873 situated at Sellur Village, Madurai, to an extent of 1678 sq. feet, which is the subject matter of O.S.No.113 of 2009 on the file of the I Additional District Munsif, Madurai Town, under the guise of enquiry on the third respondent's foisted complaint.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent. He further submitted that the third respondent filed a complaint, leading to a summons for enquiry at the second respondent police Station. Despite the dispute being civil in nature, the first and second respondent police are harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

4. However, the learned Government Advocate, Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar (Crl.side) on instructions, submitted that already an enquiry has been conducted in this matter and the petition was closed on 28.11.2025 with respect to the civil dispute between the parties.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. However, the 2nd respondent is directed not to harass the petitioner under the guise of further enquiry and meddle with the civil dispute. 08.12.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No vsg TO:- 1.The Commissioner of Police, Madurai City, Madurai.
