Heard learned counsel appearing for petitioner and learned counsel appearing for respondents.
2. Learned Counsel appearing for petitioner submits that this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963, seeking to condone the delay of 827 days in filing the instant Criminal Revision Case in Crl.R.C.(MD).SR.No.81899 of 2025.
3. Learned counsel appearing for respondents submits that he has no objection in condoning the delay of 827 days, however, he seeks to impose cost on petitioner.
4. Being satisfied with reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition, the delay of 827 days in filing the above criminal revision petition is condoned. Petitioner shall however pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- as cost to "Roja Vanam Senior Citizens Care Centre, Uthangudi Madurai". This amount shall be paid by petitioner within a period of two weeks. The petitioner shall "report compliance" before the Registry within a period of two weeks.
