This case is listed today at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner under the caption "for being mentioned".

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the year in the case number mentioned in the cause title has been wrongly typed as "2023" instead of "2025".

3. In view of the above, the year "2023" in the case number mentioned in the cause title is directed to be substituted as "2025". The Registry is directed to carry out the above correction and issue a fresh copy of the order to the parties, if already issued. This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to mutate/transfer patta for the property in S.No.171/2A1A1 (as per Sub-Division) measuring about 1532 Sq.Ft situated at Thiruparankundram, Madurai District in the name of the petitioner on the basis of the Sale Deed in Document No.3960 of 2025 dated 18.06.2025 executed in pursuance of the Judgment and Decree passed in O.S.No.191 of 2012 on the file of the Vth Additional District Judge, Madurai and by considering the Petitioner's Application in No.2025/0105/24/753364 dated 23.07.2025 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner submitted an application/representation on 23.07.2025 for mutation/transfer of patta for the aforesaid survey number pursuant to the sale deed and judgment and decree of the Court below. Page No. 5 of 8

However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 23.07.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say that if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
