ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the 1st respondent for issuance of Police Clearance Certificate, by considering his representation dated 12.11.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 2nd respondent would submit that as on date no case is pending as against the writ petitioner. However, the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the petitioner has obtained two passports and the said issue is under consideration.

3. In view of the above said facts, the 3rd respondent is directed to forward his opinion to the 1st respondent within a period of two weeks. On receipt of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the said opinion and the explanation of the petitioner dated 12.11.2025 with regard to double passport and thereafter, pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of opinion from the 3rd respondent.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
