This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to conclude the enquiry in connection with cancellation of patta application filed by the petitioner in Na.Ka.No.140/2024/A2 within time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents 2 and 3, notice is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner has submitted an application for cancellation of patta to the first respondent. However, since no action has been taken so far, the petitioner is before this Court to conclude the proceedings.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the 1st respondent undertakes to conclude the proceedings within twelve weeks. 2/4

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to conclude the proceedings and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
