ORDER
The petitioners seek to quash the impugned FIR in Cr.No.312 of 2024 dated 07.12.2024 on the file of the 1st respondent and to quash the same insofar as the petitioners are concerned, which was filed for the offences under Section 329(3), 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 351(3) of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant/2nd respondent is running a hospital and courier service. While so, the petitioners received a big parcel and were asked to come and take the delivery of the same. For which, the petitioners had come to the shop and cursed the defacto complainant with filthy language, attacked him and his employees thereby causing severe injuries and threatened with dire consequences. Therefore, on the basis of the complaint lodged by 2/5
the defacto complainant, F.I.R in Crime No.312 of 2024 has been filed.
3. The petitioners and the 2nd and 3rd respondents have amicably settled the dispute. The parties have filed a joint compromise memo dated 10.12.2025.

The petitioners, namely, Pradeep (Aadhaar No.7893 4425 3783), Kalaivanan (Aadhaar No.8518 3310 6810), and the 2nd respondent, namely, Mohamed (Aadhaar No.9737 9748 5903) and the 3rd respondent, namely Akila (Aadhaar No.5653 3456 3071) are present before this Court in person. They are identified by Mr.P.Salai Janarthanan, Thuvakkudi Police Station, Trichy District. All the parties confirmed the compromise arrived at between them.
5. In view of the same and considering the nature of the offences, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the impugned F.I.R. Accordingly, the impugned F.I.R in Crime 3/5
No.312 of 2024 dated 07.12.2024 is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo dated 10.12.2025 shall form part of this order. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
