O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents herein to forthwith disburse the balance compensation amount Rs.5,91,439/- together with statutory interest from the date of acquisition to the petitioner, relating to the land acquired from the petitioner in Survey No.268/4B, measuring an extent of 380 Sq.mts., situated in Kapiliyapatti Village, Oddanchathram Taluk, Dindigul District, in accordance with law and within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that the part compensation could not be disbursed for the reason of wrongly depositing the compensation amount to an adjacent land owner. If the amount was wrongly deposited by the respondents themselves, that cannot be a ground to keep the disbursal in abeyance. The petitioner shall be compensated expeditiously along with interest at the rate of 9% in accordance with the Act.
4. With the above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. (K.SURENDER, J) 09.12.2025 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No RR 3/5
