ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai to proceed further and to pass final order in the Referred Charge Sheet in R.C.S.No.19 of 2022 within a time frame.
2. The present writ petition was listed under the caption "for maintainability."
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that this petition will not lie and the petitioner has to file a revision only.
4. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that so far, no order has been passed in the referred charge sheet. Hence, he is seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate-IV, Madurai, to pass final order in the referred charge sheet.

5. On 06.01.2026, when the matter was taken up for hearing, this Court directed the learned Judicial Magistrate to file a report as to why the referred charge sheet has not taken on file so far.
6. As per the direction of this Court, the learned Judicial Magistrate-IV, Madurai has filed a status report, wherein it is stated that the matter was brought to the notice of the learned Judicial Magistrate only recently and also stated that the matter would be taken on file and appropriate orders will be passed as expeditiously as possible.
7. Recording the said report, the present Writ Petition is closed. No Costs.
