O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the proceedings in Naa.Kaa.A1/5741/2025 with regard to cancellation of patta relating to the property located in survey number 1/3A of Pillapalayam Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District with an extent of hec.0.59.00 on the file of the 1st respondent in accordance with law within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the second respondent, notice is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025 for cancellation of patta relating to the property located in survey number 1/3A of Pillapalayam Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the private respondent and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
