O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by G.K. ILANTHIRAIYAN,J.) The prayer in the petition is to direct the second respondent to produce the body or person of the petitioner's husband namely Thirunavukarasu, S/o.Anathappan, aged about 65 years old, before this Court and set him at liberty.
2. The petitioner is the wife of the detenu who is aged about 65 years. While he was working in the Irukankudi Mariamman temple there was a dispute regarding sharing of the amount collected from the devotees and thereafter her husband was missing since 17.12.2024, therefore the petitioner lodged complaint before the second respondent and the same was registered in Crime No.201 of 2024 under 'Man Missing'. On investigation the second respondent is unable to find out the whereabouts of the husband of the petitioner. The second respondent
also enquired the third respondent and nothing was revealed by the third respondent.
3. Admittedly the husband of the petitioner is aged about 65 years and there was a quarrel between the petitioner and her husband and the third respondent.
4. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No. 201 of 2024 and file a final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Habeus Corpus Petition stands disposed of.
