PRAYER :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first to third respondents to take action against the 4th to 12th respondents for threatening the petitioner and further direct the second and third respondents to give necessary police protection to made a fencing around the petitioner's property in Survey No.1872/5 to an extent of 2 Acre 29 cents, Survey No.1886/3A to an extent of 1 Acre 17 cents and Survey No.1886/5A to an extent of 8 cents situated at Palayam Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2025.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first to third respondents to take action against the fourth to twelfth respondents for allegedly threatening the petitioner, and further directing the second and third respondents to provide necessary police protection to enable the petitioner to put up fencing around his property in Survey No.1872/5 to an extent of 2 acres and 29 cents, Survey No.1886/3A to an extent of 1 acre and 17 cents, and Survey No.1886/5A to an extent of 8 cents, situated at Palayam Village, 2/5
Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first to third respondents.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and inasmuch as the dispute is civil in nature, the said prayer cannot be entertained, as the same cannot be adjudicated by the police. Admittedly, the private respondents have also filed a suit in O.S. No.173 of 2023 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif Court, Vedasanthur, seeking injunction. In such circumstances, the respondent police cannot be directed to provide police protection for fencing the property. Hence, the present Writ Petition is dismissed, with a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the suit within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In the result, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
