O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders to take action against the fifth respondent, who failed to transfer the ownership of the vehicle, viz., Tata Sumo Gold GX CR4 BS IV, bearing Registration No. TN 47 AB 8525, purchased from the petitioner on 13.04.2024, in accordance with law.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he sold the vehicle to the fifth respondent under a written vehicle sale agreement dated 13.04.2024 for a sum of Rs.1,90,000/-. At the time of purchase, the fifth respondent assured the petitioner that he would immediately effect the transfer of ownership and obtained the petitioner's signatures in all the relevant ownership transfer forms. However, till date, the fifth respondent has neither effected the name transfer nor renewed the insurance of the vehicle. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the fourth 2/5

respondent and subsequently, made a representation on 18.09.2025 to the respondents. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2025 will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving due notice to the petitioner and the fifth respondent.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
