ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Court for the exclusive trial of PCR Act cases, Trichy, to pass order on the bail petition filed by the petitioner on the same day of surrender in Cr.No.887 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the de facto complainant purchased agricultural land from Pappathi, W/o. Annamalai, After Pappathi's demise, her relatives came to the land, abused the de facto complainant with filthy language mentioning his caste name, and criminally intimidated him. Based on these allegations, the 2nd respondent police registered the FIR in crime No.887 of 2025 against 2/5

the petitioners / Accused for the alleged commission of offence under Section 296(b), 351(2) BNSS (294(b), 506(1) IPC), 3(l)(r), 3(l)(s) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby directs the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Court for the exclusive trial of PCR Act cases, Trichy, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime.No. 887 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
