ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to provide adequate protection to the petitioner and her husband namely Agastin for their life and limb based on the representation dated 04.12.2025.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 5th respondent is dispensed with.

3. The claim of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner had entered into a love marriage with one Agastin, as a result of which she is facing threat from her parents. 2/5

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that both the petitioner along with her husband and her parents appeared before the respondent police on 05.12.2025 and CSR No.964 of 2025 was issued. Following which, during enquiry, the respective parties have given an undertaking in writing that they will not interfere with each other's lives in future, and more particularly the girl's parent has given an undertaking that they will not cause any life threat to the petitioner and her husband and on the recording the same the the file is closed.

5. In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and further directing the 4th respondent to ensure the protection of the petitioner and her husband in case of receipt of any complaint in future, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
