O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to send the finger prints found in the registered Will dated 01.07.2002 in connection with Crime No.19/2024 on the file of the second respondent for expert opinion to the Forensic Lab, considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025.

2. It is needless to point out that whenever a representation of this nature is made to a Statutory Authority, there is a duty cast upon the respondents to consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in one way or other instead of keeping the same pending indefinitely. As such, non-consideration of the representation made to the Statutory Authority would amount to dereliction of duty and hence, this Court will be justified in invoking the extraordinary powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

3. Without going into the merits of this case, this Court hereby directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation made by the petitioner and take necessary action within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
