ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to cancel the Patta No.205 standing in respect of properties in Survey Nos. 199/1, 199/2A, 200/1A, 200/1B, 200/1C, and 200/2A situated at Ayanbommaiyapuram Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, 2/5

Thoothukudi District on the basis of petitioner's representations dated 16.08.2024 and 11.07.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the private respondents, notice is dispensed with.

The petitioner submitted a representation to the 3rd respondent on 11.07.2025 to cancel the patta No.205 with respect to the properties in S.Nos. 199/1, 199/2A, 200/1A, 200/1B, 200/1C, and 200/2A situated at Ayanbommaiyapuram Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District. However, no action has been taken on the said representation. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the official respondents, submits that the representation of the petitioner's would be considered by the 3rd respondent within a time stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any 3/5

opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, all the interested parties shall be put on notice and if there are rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil court.There shall be no order as to costs.
