ORDER
Seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate Police protection when the petitioner harvests the land belonging to Arulmigu Mazhaimuthu Mariamman Kovil spreading across a vast area of 1 acres 85 1⁄4 cents comprised in S.No.107/1 situated at Vedhiyankudi Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint/representation dated 04.12.2025, this Criminal Original Petition is filed.
2.Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the Poojari and administrator of the above said temple. On the strength of Poojari, the petitioner is cultivating coconut, banana trees, lemon trees and paddy crops in 85 cents. But, the fourth respondent and her associates 2/6
disturbed the petitioner for cultivating the crops by threatening the petitioner. Hence, he sought the indulgence of this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate, Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar (Crl.side) on instructions, submitted that the complaint has been lodged by the petitioner, who is Poojari of the above said temple. He further submitted that if the necessary on producing documents to substantiate the title of the temple, necessary police protection will be provided. 5.Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
6.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the petitioner is hereby directed to appear before the third respondent police and produce the necessary documents to substantiate the title of the temple. On receipt of the same, the third respondent police is directed to afford adequate police protection to the petitioner, if the possession and title stands in the name of the temple.

7.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of .
