ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Principal District Judge, Karur, to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day in connection with Crime No.320 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent police.
2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant availed hand loan for a sum of Rs.10,000/- from A1 and the same could not be repaid. On 31.11.2025, a pair of cows allegedly went missing from the defacto complainant's house and later, it was found in A1's premises. When the same was questioned, A1 and the petitioner are said to have abused the defacto complainant in filthy language referring to his caste, assaulted him with an iron pipe and caused threats. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner and other accused person. 2/5
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Principal District Judge, Karur, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.320 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 10.12.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No Rmk Note: Issue order copy on 11.12.2025.
