ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the 1st respondent to issue the police clearance certificate (PCC) to the petitioner in respect of passport number bearing No.T3700941 by disposing the petitioner's application in File No.25-1065466328.

2. Mr.R.Saravanakumar, learned Central Government Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.S.Prakash, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

3. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that the petitioner has been charge sheeted in S.C.No.240 of 2025 on the file of the Fast Track Mahila Court, Sivagangai on 17.07.2025. 2/4

5. In view of the above said facts, the 2nd respondent is directed to forward their opinion to the 1st respondent. Based upon the same, the 1st respondent is directed to pass orders either issuing a police clearance certificate (PCC) or rejecting the same as per the opinion of the 2nd respondent.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
