ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the Tender Notification issued by the 1st respondent on 18.11.2025 and to direct the 3rd respondent to issue a fresh Tender Notification in respect of the jobs mentioned therein.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Advocate General assisted by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent, on instructions, would submit that the 3rd respondent municipality has taken a decision not to proceed with the Tender Notification dated 18.11.2025 and they have decided to issue a fresh notification.

3. It is needless to point out that any fresh notification issued shall strictly adhere to the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act and Rules, 1998 and Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act and Rules.
