ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus to direct the seventh respondent to de-freeze the petitioner's primary saving Bank A/c No. 500101012029252 of Vedasandur Branch, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu, forthwith and allow petitioner to operate the account regularly without any hindrance.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.S.Abul Kalaam Azad, learned Government Advocate (crl.side), who takes 2/5

notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.N.Dilipkumar, learned counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the seventh respondent. Since this Court is directing to mark a lien to the tune of Rs.40,000/-, notice to the respondents 2 to 6 is dispensed with.

3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The seventh respondent has frozen the account of the petitioner based on the direction of the other respondents. However, total amount payable by the petitioner is only Rs.36,188/-. Therefore, it would suffice to create a lien on disputed amount of Rs.40,000/- and de-freeze the account. Therefore, this Court directs the seventh respondent to de-freeze the petition mentioned account, after marking a lien of Rs.40,000/-.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 18.12.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes Rmk 3/5
