Respondents Petition filed under Section Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to grant six days emergency leave without police escort to the petitioner's father namely, Jahaber Sathik, S/o.Haja Allavudeen, life convict, PID No.321781 confined at Central Prison, Trichy, for attending the serious illness of his wife, namely, Mrs.Jasmin Farvinn on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2025.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.,] (1)This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, son of the life convict, for a direction, directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.10.2025, seeking emergency leave for six days without police escort for taking care of the petitioner's mother / wife of the convict.
(2)Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and he has produced the order dated 20.11.2025 passed by the 1st respondent.
(3)It is seen that on receipt of the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2025, the 1st respondent, vide order dated 20.11.2025, granted six days emergency leave, but with police escort.
(4)Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order of the 1st respondent dated 20.11.2025, in a manner known to law, if so advised.
