O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's lands in Survey Nos.13/5 and 13/6, measuring an extent of 0.03.50 hectares and 0.06.00 hectares respectively, comprised in Patta No.556, situated at Keelamangalam Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District and lay boundary stones based on the e-Challan dated 01.11.2025 submitted to the first respondent, within such time as may be stipulated by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been made for the demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the Page No. 2 of 5

parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the respondents to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 01.11.2025, demarcate the petitioner's lands after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
