dated 06.10.2025 by issuing the joint patta in the names of his father and the 4th respondent for an extent of 66 cents of Madurai North Taluk, Kulamangulam 1st Bit Village in its old Survey No. 26/1 in Old patta No. 447 and cancel the forged new patta Nos.54, 620, 1378 and 1379 of Kulamangulam 1st Bit Village within the stipulated time limit as fixed by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to take on file and dispose the petitioner's unnumbered appeal dated 06.10.2025 by issuing the joint patta in the names of his father and the 4th respondent for an extent of 66 cents of Madurai North Taluk, Kulamangulam 1st Bit Village in its old Survey No. 26/1 in Old patta No. 447 and cancel the forged new patta Nos.54, 620, 1378 and 1379 of Kulamangulam 1st Bit Village within the stipulated time limit as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal 2/5
at the stage of admission itself. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents 4 to 6, notice is dispensed with.
3. For cancelling the patta earlier issued and for issuance of joint patta, the petitioner has preferred an appeal to the 2nd respondent. However, the said appeal is still pending without any consideration and hence, the petitioner is before this court with this writ petition.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that an appeal has been filed before the 2nd respondent and seeking intervention of this Court to direct the 2nd respondent to number and dispose of the appeal, the petitioner is before this Court.
5. In the event an appeal is being filed and is in order, after numbering, the same shall be disposed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
