ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the impugned order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.A.10/431/2025dated 13.10.2025 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the first respondent to refer. G.O.Ms.No. 29 Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce (SIPCOT-LA) Department dated 08.03.2024 to a competent civil Court for enhancement of compensation to the petitioner as per Revalidation Act, 2019 with reference to Act 30 of 2013 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. With the consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3
4. The brief facts of the case are that pursuant to the requisition by the Government for the purpose of Allikulam Oil Refinery Factory Project, the land of the petitioner was also acquired. Pursuant to the same, there was a negotiation held between the Government and the affected persons. Thereafter agreement was entered into and agreed amount of compensation was paid to the petitioner, which is not in dispute. However, now the petitioner claims that he had endorsed in form-F that he intended to seek enhancement of compensation.
5. This is an agreement and settlement has been made, which is signed by the petitioner himself. If any claim for additional compensation, it is left open to the petitioner to approach the concerned Court seeking enhancement of compensation.
6. Needless to say, if so advised the petitioner can approach the concerned Court for the purpose of seeking enhanced compensation.
7. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
