Respondents PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to conduct survey and measurement in respect of the land in Survey No.442/9 in Melachorikulam Village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent to give adequate police protection to the 2nd Respondent for conducting the survey based on the representation dated 17.11.2025 within a time frame by this Court.

O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to conduct survey and measurement in respect of the land in Survey No.442/9 in Melachorikulam Village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to give adequate police protection to the 2nd respondent for conducting the survey based on the representation dated 17.11.2025 within a time frame by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that a representation has been made for survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.11.2025 and demarcate the land of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after consideration of the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923. If there are rival claims, the said issues can be agitated before the civil Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
