O R D E R

********** This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent-Police to complete the investigation and file the final report in respect of Crime No. RC-692022E0002, dated 06.01.2022, on the file of respondent-Police Station and direct he respondent/Police to file the final report before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Court,Madurai within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.An FIR in Crime No.RC0692022E0002, dated 06.01.2022 was filed for the offence under Section 120B r/w Section 420 IPC nd Section 33, 35 and 39 r/w section 7,8 and 13 of Foreign Contribution(Regulation) Act, 2010, against the Petitioner Society and its Trustees. Since the investigation was not completed even after a lapse of three years since the filing of the FIR, the Petitioner has filed the above Criminal Original Petition for the aforesaid relief.

3.The respondent-Police in their counter has stated that in R.C.No.02/2022, investigation was completed and a Closure Report was filed before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Madurai.

4.Considering the fact that the respondent/Police have already filed the Closure Report before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Madurai, a direction is given to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai to pass orders pursuant to the filing of the Closure Report, as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with law.

5.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
