Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to ensure the event of Madu Viduthal during the Pongal festival will be held on 17.01.2026 at Adi Drividar Street, Keezhakovilpathu, Udayar Kovil, Thanjavur District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 01.12.2025, within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

direct the respondents to ensure the event of Madu Viduthal during the Pongal festival will be held on 17.01.2026 at Adi Drividar Street, Keezhakovilpathu, Udayar Kovil, Thanjavur District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 01.12.2025, within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.This Court without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 01.12.2025 and pass orders in accordance to law at the earliest.

3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
