This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to take necessary steps to expedite and complete the enquiry proceedings in File No.Na.Ka.No.E-2385766/2024/B dated 16.10.2024, relating to Patta No. 2141 and to dispose of the same at the earliest in accordance with law.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner along with others filed a petition in File No.Na.Ka.No.E-2385766/2024/B before the first respondent seeking cancellation of Patta No.2141, which was issued in the name of the third respondent, including the land in Survey No.74/7B measuring an extent of 1.5 Ares belonging to the petitioner and others; and that though the petition was filed on 16.10.2024 itself, the same has not yet been disposed of by the first respondent.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents submits that the petitioner's petition will be disposed of on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks.

Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's petition dated 16.10.2024 on its merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The said petition shall be disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The first respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner, the private respondent and any other interested parties who may be affected by the decision.
