This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents herein to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property in Survey No. 214/1, measuring an extent of 1.47 Acres, situated at Sivanthipatti Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2025, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first to third respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation was considered and disposed of by the second respondent vide proceedings dated 04.06.2025 bearing Na.Ka.No.Aa8/479/2025 rejecting the petitioner's request for survey and demarcation of the subject land on the ground that there exists a civil dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent and that a copy of the said proceedings has been Page No. 2 of 4
furnished to both the petitioner and the fourth respondent. A copy of the said proceedings has also been produced before this Court.
3. In view of the above submission and upon perusal of the said proceedings, the direction as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted, as the issue has already been considered by the second respondent. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said proceedings in accordance with law. No costs.
