Mr.S.S.Manoj Government Advocate (Crl.Side) ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Court had earlier granted interim bail to the petitioner on account of the medical ailment of the petitioner's daughter.

2. Today, it is submitted that the petitioner's daughter has been discharged and is presently staying at home. However, the proposed surgery is not feasible until the petitioner's daughter stabilises on certain medical parameters. Hence, the petitioner seeks extension of the interim bail.

3. However, the respondent-prosecution vehemently opposed the grant of extension, contending that the interim bail was granted only for the purpose of facilitating the surgery, and when the date of surgery has not yet been fixed, the petitioner cannot seek extension of the interim bail.

4. Considering the rival submissions made on either side, this Court is inclined to extend the interim bail for a further period of one week, i.e., until 18.12.2025. Thereafter, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Superintendent, District Jail, Theni at 05.30 p.m., on 18.12.2025.

5. Registry is directed to post the main bail petition on 09.01.2026. (S S Y J) 12.12.2025 pal Note: Issue order copy on 12.12.2025.
