ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking orders to punish the contemnors/respondents for their willful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P(MD)No.25280 of 2024, dated 24.10.2024.

2. In pursuant to the direction of this Court, Mr.Seetharaman, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Srirangam Range, Trichy City, is present before this Court. He filed a counter affidavit stating that the petitioner has not come to any adverse notice to the jurisdictional police and on that basis, proposal was sent to the Deputy Commissioner of Police North, Trichy, requesting the closure of History Sheet on the petitioner and upon considering the same, the Deputy Commissioner of Police passed an order for closure of History Sheet on 04.03.2026.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State has also produced the proceedings of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Trichy City North, wherein the name of the petitioner has been removed from the History Sheet.
