Respondents Petition filed under Section Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant emergency leave without escort for the period of 15 days to the petitioner's

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.,] (1)This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.11.2025, seeking emergency leave without police escort for a period of fifteen days.

(2)Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and he has produced the order dated 10.12.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent, rejecting the representation of the petitioner.

(3)It is seen that on receipt of the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2025, the 2nd respondent, vide order dated 10.12.2025, rejected the request of the petitioner, wife of the life convict, on the ground that the

convict is also involved in two other cases and both the cases are pendig trial.

(4)Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order of the 2nd respondent dated 10.12.2025, in a manner known to law, if so advised.
