ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to accept and file the sale certificate dated 31.07.2025 issued in favour of the petitioner in Book No.1 under Section 89 of the Registration Act, 1908, by accepting the 3 percent filing fee as per G.O. (Ms)No.100 dated 16.07.2025 and consequently permit the petitioner to remit the said 3 percent fee by way of demand draft or any other mode as may be permitted, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2025

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner, in order to file 3% filing fee as per G.O.Ms No. 100 dated 16.07.2025 and permit them to remit the 3% fee by way of 2/5

demand draft, sent a representation to the 2nd respondent on 31.10.2025. Since there was no action on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader is in total agreement with the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner. However, he would submit that they are facing technical issues, which would be resolved within considerable time and once it is resolved, appropriate orders would be passed.

5. Considering the submission made on either side, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:

The 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.10.2025 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. 15.12.2025 RR 3/5
