O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent for issuance of passport to the petitioner based upon his application dated 06.12.2023, on the basis of his representation dated 20.08.2025.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.166 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent, which has culminated in filing of a charge sheet in C.C.No.64 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1,

3. In view of the above said submissions, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case, if any such application is filed, the learned trial Judge is directed to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks. Based upon the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai District, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law. 2/4

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
